Guess what I’ll be borrowing from my school for the weekend?

…A Canon EF 15mm f/2.8 Fisheye! This is just a test shot btw, using my Canon 5DMkII. It won’t look as gorgeous on a cropped sensor, but with a full-frame, it’s amazing! I’ll be sure to post some photos, plus, probably, a short review on it ♥

    Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II

I now know why many people are madly in love with this lens! Not only is it cheap (~115usd), it only has nice bokeh or out-of-focus/blurred areas. I personally find it too wide though, since I’m using a camera with a full-frame sensor, but this really works well with most dSLRS which carry APS-C (cropped) sensors. Chai, a photographer-friend, produces stunning photographs with only this lens. It’s amazing ♥

    PROs:
Sharp focus, bokeh, minimal weight, compact, and cheap

    CONS:
Slow and miss-and-hit focusing, and plastic-y
