“One Day in the City: Pasay” Opening Night
A few months back, I was informed that I will be part of a select few AB Photography students from DLS-CSB who will be exhibiting their works at the Metropolitan Museum of Manila. Also, I was told that we will be featuring Pasay City. Then and there, I knew, we will be doing mostly street photography and photojournalism - two fields I’ve never touched before.
We were given 24 hours to shoot the photos we will be showcasing in this exhibit. Being the inexperienced girl that I am, I mostly shot portraits and obscure things I found on the road. Knowing that the director of the Met himself will be picking the final three photos, I really thought that not even one photo will be chosen. Luckily, I was wrong. He even loved one photo enough that he included it on the official online invite. Heeee~ *dies* ; w ;
So, enough talk and onto the photos!

Of course, first picture of the night should be… MYSELF! Lololol. This is me, before the exhibit opens. So anxious!

Hundreds of people patiently waiting for the exhibit to open! I think we reached 200+? Unbelievable!

Photo op with the Congresswoman! My mom looks so happy :-))

A few of my friends who supported me on opening night: Ian, Lawrence, Nikki and Mara! Chai, Aian, Keith and Red were also there. Love you, guys!

And of course, much needed coffee after all the stress I’ve had from this event. Tired fez is tired.
Thank you to everyone who has and have been continuously giving me their support! I’d never would have been here if not for you all ♥
By the way, the exhibit will be up until end of March 2012. Everyone can go see it. The Metropolitan Museum of Manila is open from Monday to Saturday, 9:00-6:00, but they are closed every first Monday of the month. Please do visit and see our works! :-)
