EOS Rose Brown

My closest friends in the local jfashion & cosplay scene know pretty well how I am allergic to GEO lenses (yes, my eyes get all puffy and bloodshot) so I have been on the hunt for alternatives. A few weeks ago, an amazing store called GWYSHOP, kindly sponsored me two pairs of EOS lenses, one of which I’ll be reviewing today :-)

Out of the bottle, the lenses are quite hazel in color, and you can see well how intricate the rose x lace pattern is. When worn, however, the color blends into your eyes - making the lenses appear darker and more natural.

You can clearly see the design up close, but from afar, it’s barely there. It’s like you’re wearing a generic dark brown circle lens.

As for enlargement, this isn’t the most enlarging 14.8mm lenses I’ve worn either. They’re comparable to 14.5mms, I think. Not that I’m complaining though, I don’t want to look all alienesque when I’m wearing this ;-)

Color: 4/10 Barely visible under natural light!
Design: 10/10 ♥
Comfort: 9/10
Enlargement: 9/10 The size works great for me!
Overall: 8/10!

I bet this would look good with studio lights / proper lighting. If you’re planning to shoot with this on natural light, you might end up disappointed. Although the design looks rather intriguing when viewed up close ♥
